Recommendation:  The Sustainability Committee met on April 14, 2009, and by a Unanimous vote have made the following recommendations to the Town Council for consideration:

Reappointments (4 seats)

• Barbara Driscoll Reappointment, Environmental Protection
• Josh Gurlitz Reappointment, Social Justice
• Vasu Kilaru Reappointment, Economic Vitality
• Sherif Ghobrial Reappointment, Chair

Appointment (1 Vacancy)

1. Carol Brown
2. Joy Steinberg

Special Request(s): With regard to the appointment recommendation, the Sustainability Committee recommends the two candidates that received the highest number of votes based on the order shown.

Background: In an effort to maintain momentum and continuity, the Sustainability Committee believes it will be important for the four existing members above to be reappointed.
