Grant Project Ordinance for the 2009-2010 Community Development Block Grant Program. Council Goal 4: Maintain and Improve Community Facilities and Services |

| Background: On May 4, 2009 the Council adopted a plan for use of $652,200 of Community Development Block Grant Funds. This amount includes $584,379 of 2009-2010 Community Development Block Grant funds, $7,338 of program income received during the 2008-2009 program year, and $60,483 of residual funds from prior years Community Development Grants. | |||

| Fiscal Note: Enactment of the attached ordinance would establish a budget for the 2009-2010 Community Development Block Grant Program. | |||

| Recommendations: The Council will consider ordinances to: (1) establish a Community Development Grant Project Ordinance to include $584,379 of 2009-2010 Community Development Block Grant funds, and $7,338 of program income received during the 2008-2009 program year; and (2) amend the 2007-2008 Community Development Entitlement Grant Project Ordinance to reallocate a total of $60,483 of residual funds. | |||
