| Background: The North Carolina Building Codes are revised every three years and are amended and adopted by the North Carolina Building Code Council as the code to be enforceable within the State. A text amendment to Town Code would formally adopt the current editions of the North Carolina Building and Fire Codes. | |||

| Recommendations: That Council will consider an ordinance to adopt the revised codes. | |||
