Acceptance of Grant Funds for Employee Wellness and Employee Assistance Programs. (R-9) (O-7) Council Goal One: Steward Organization Development |

| Background: The Human Resource Development Department applied for and received grant funds from the North Caroline League of Municipalities (NCLM) for Employee Wellness Employee Assistance Programs to enhance training in both areas. The attached budget ordinance amendment would establish budgets for these grant programs. | |||
|
|
|||
| Fiscal Note: The acceptance of grant funds and adoption of the budget ordinance will establish budgets for these grant programs in the total amount of $9000 in this fiscal year. | |||

|||
| Recommendations: That the Council consider a resolution authorizing acceptance of both the North Carolina League of Municipalities Grant Funds for Employee Wellness and Employee Assistance Programs and enact the attached Budget Ordinance Amendment establishing budgets for NCLM Grants dated September 14, 2009. | |||
