University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Report on Proposed Gas Line. |

| Background: The University requests the opportunity to describe proposal to install a gas pipe line between the Orange County Landfill and the old Duke Energy site, at the corner of Homestead Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. A portion of the proposed gas line route includes Homestead Park. The University would like to begin to work with the Town staff to obtain the appropriate easements and permits for this proposed project. | |||
