| Background: The attached staff memorandum includes background information on a proposal to adjust the public hearing schedule for a pending text amendment to the Land Use Management Ordinance regarding demolition of historic structures. The proposed adjustment to the schedule would move the public hearing date from October 19, 2009 to January 20, 2010. | |||

| Fiscal Note: Discussion of the public hearing date has no significant fiscal impact. However the cost of implementation, administration, and enforcement of new regulations, if enacted, would be addressed during the public hearing process. | |||

| Recommendations: That the Council schedule a public hearing for January 20, 2010 to consider a Land Use Management Ordinance text amendment to regulate the demolition of historic structures. | |||
