Process for Review of the Chapel Hill Long Range Transit Plan. (R-4) Council Goal 3: Focus on Land Use, Transit and Development. |

| Background: Chapel Hill, Carrboro and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have worked with a consultant to prepare the Chapel Hill Long Range Transit Plan. The Plan provides a framework within which future transit investments can be implemented and coordinated with anticipated future development. | |||
|
|
|||
| Fiscal Note: Adoption and implementation of the recommendations of the Long Range Transit Plan would require additional funding from federal, state and local sources. | |||
|
|
|||
| Recommendations: That the Council refer the Long Range Transit Plan to Town advisory boards and schedule a Public Forum for February 15, 2010. | |||
