Withdrawal of Dawson Place Right-of-way Dedication. (R-5) Council Goal 3: Continue Focus on Land Use, Transit and Development. |

| Background: State law allows a property owner to reclaim the land within a public right-of-way if that section of right-of-way has not been accepted for public use within 15 years of the offer to dedicate the land as right-of-way. The section of Dawson Place now under consideration was offered as right-of-way more than 33 years ago and was never accepted by the Town. Adoption of the attached resolution would confirm this section of right-of-way is not on an adopted street plan and thus provide for the withdrawal of the right-of-way by the property owner. | |||
