| Background: The attached ordinance provides information regarding the revenue and related expenses for traffic impact studies. We budgeted revenue and related expenses for traffic studies at $100,000 in the current fiscal year. Traffic impact study update #1 for Carolina North development alone cost approximately $206,331. | |||

| Fiscal Note: We receive funds from developers for conducting traffic impact studies and no funds are required from the Town. | |||
|
|
|||
| Recommendations: That the Council enact the attached budget amendment for FY 2009-2010 that would increase the Public Works Department budget by $206,331 to perform the traffic impact studies. | |||
