| Background: The attached budget amendment is a technical correction to adjust the Transit Grant Fund to accurately reflect the receipt of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funds in the amount of $1 million. This amendment will correctly show $1 million in Federal Transit Administration funds for preventative maintenance activities (as originally budgeted) rather than in the Transit Capital Fund. | |||

| Fiscal Note: This amendment reflects no change in budgeted expenses or revenue. It will recognize the anticipated receipt of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funds in the operating budget rather than the Transit Capital Fund. | |||
