Completion of the Culbreth Park Rehabilitation Program. Council Goal 3: Continue to Focus on Land Use, Transit and Development |

| Background: On May 19, 2008, the Council established a Culbreth Park Rehabilitation Program and allocated $292,400 from the Affordable Housing Fund to complete exterior repairs on seven homes. The Council agreed to provide funds as a grant to the homeowners and authorized the Community Home Trust (formerly Orange Community Housing and Land Trust) to manage the oversight of the rehabilitation work that was completed by licensed professional contractors for a fee of $3,000 per house. The attached report from the Community Home Trust provides detailed information on the completed rehabilitation work. | |||

| Fiscal Note: Funding this program reduced the amount of funds available in the Affordable Housing Fund for other affordable housing projects. | |||
