Public Hearing: Rogers Road Small Area Plan. |

| Background: The Rogers Road study area is located in Orange County to the northwest area adjacent to the Town of Carrboro. The study area is located in the Chapel Hill Joint Planning Transition Area, an area which is anticipated to become part of the Town of Chapel Hill. | |||

| Fiscal Note: There is no fiscal impact associated with the discussion of this item tonight. Implementation of the recommendations however would have long term financial impacts which will be projected as subsequent reports are made. | |||

| Recommendations: We recommend that the Council receive public comment on the Final Report of the Rogers Road Small Area Plan Task Force. We recommend that the public comments as well as the advisory board and agency input be referred to the staff and the item return to the Council in January for consideration of adoption as an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. | |||
