Council Response to Petition Regarding Bed and Breakfast Land Use Management Ordinance Text Amendment (LUMOTA). |

| Background:
On September 28, 2009 the Council received a petition requesting that the Town implement a Land Use Management Ordinance Text Amendment (LUMOTA) to allow Bed and Breakfast establishments in some areas of town.
On January 12, 2010 we received a revised version of the petition with the same and additional signatories. Attached is an updated summary on the current LUMOTA staff schedule. The schedule has been amended to included a slot for a text amendment for Bed and Breakfast establishments. We plan to return to the Council in the Spring with a report on process for developing and reviewing said text amendment. |
