| Background:
In September, 2006 Chapel Hill, Carrboro and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill intiated a process to prepare a long range transit plan. In July, 2009 the Policy Committee, created to provide project oversight, recieved the draft Chapel Hill-Carrboro 2035 Long Range Transit Plan and referred it to Chapel Hill, Carrboro and the University for review and comment. |

| Fiscal Note: Approval of the recommendations of the draft Long Range Transit Plan would require additional Town financial resources. | |||

| Recommendations: That the Council receive public comment at tonight's public forum and refer the comments to the Manager. | |||
