SUBJECT:        Nominations to the Orange County Solid Waste Advisory Board

 

DATE:              September 8, 2003

 

 

Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill a vacant Town seat on the Orange County Solid Waste Advisory Board.  Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.

 

The appointment to the Orange County Solid Waste Advisory Board is scheduled to be made tonight.

 

Copies of the applications are attached.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2003-09-08/R-3)

 

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

 

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:

 

Orange County Solid Waste Advisory Board

 

Randy Kabrick

Jan Sassaman
