SUBJECT:        Designation of Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the National League of Cities Congress of Cities Meeting in December

 

DATE:             October 8, 2003

 

The National League of Cities’ annual Congress of Cities meeting will be in Nashville, Tennessee December 12-14.

 

The Council is asked to designate a voting delegate and one alternate delegate for this meeting.  The League of Cities has requested that the Town notify them no later than October 14th of the delegates’ names (Attachment 1).

 

The following resolution would designate a delegate and an alternate to this meeting.

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE DELEGATE TO THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES’ 2003 CONGRESS OF CITIES ANNUAL MEETING (2003-10-08/R-7)

 

BE IT RESOLVED that the Council hereby designates ____________________ to serve as the Council’s voting delegate and ____________________ to serve as its alternate to the National League of Cities’ 2003 Congress of Cities annual meeting December 12-14, 2003.
