SUBJECT:       Amendment to Council Calendar

 

DATE:             October 27, 2003

 

 

We have been made aware of two Work Sessions that could be added to the Council’s meeting calendar, and explain these changes in more detail below.  We have also suggested that the Work Session on Traffic Calming Issues be moved to November 24, 2003, instead of November 17, 2003.  Adoption of the attached resolution would amend the Council’s calendar to reflect these changes.

 

Add:                            November 10, 2003, 5:30 p.m., Work Session to discuss the Triangle Regional Consolidated Plan

 

Change Topic:            November 17, 2003, 5:30 p.m., Work Session on Horace Williams

 

Add:                            November 24, 2003, 5:30 p.m., Work Session on Traffic Calming Issues.

 

 

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2003-2004 TOWN COUNCIL MEETING CALENDAR (2003-10-27/R-10.2)

 

WHEREAS, the Council’s meeting calendar must be adjusted from time to time to allow for additional meetings or restructuring of previously scheduled meetings; 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council hereby amends its 2003-2004 meeting calendar as follows:

 

• November 10, 2003:  Add a Work Session discussing the Triangle Regional Consolidated Plan, 5:30 p.m., Town Council Chamber.

 

• November 17, 2003:  Change of Topic Work Session discussing Horace Williams, 5:30 p.m., Town Council Chamber.

 

• November 24, 2003:  Add a Work Session discussing Traffic Calming Issues, 5:30 p.m., Town Council Chamber.
