SUBJECT:       Inclusionary Zoning

Last year, Triangle J completed a task force on inclusionary zoning.  It concluded that municipalities within North Carolina do have the power to pass carefully crafted inclusionary zoning ordinances.  Attached are some of the results of their work.

Please review this information so that we can talk about it at our retreat.  I would like to begin a conversation about initiating an inclusionary zoning ordinance.  I will also have some information about how it has been successfully done in Davidson.
