SUBJECT: Appointments to the Million Solar Roofs Committee

Tonight, the Council may make appointments for vacancies on the Million Solar Roofs Committee.

The Council at its October 8, 2003, meeting received the Annual Report from the Million Solar Roofs Committee. The report requested that the Council conduct a new appointment process allowing interested Committee members to apply to continue their participation, and to recruit new members. The report also requested that up to 15 members be appointed. The Council accepted the report and recommendations by consensus.

Copies of the applications received to date and ballots are attached.
