SUBJECT:        Nominations to Various Advisory Boards and Commissions

 

DATE:              May 24, 2004

 

 

Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill vacancies on the Board of Adjustment, Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission, Community Design Commission, Downtown Economic Development Organization, Greenways Commission, Historic District Commission, and Parks and Recreation Commission.  Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.

 

Appointments to the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission and Historic District Commission are scheduled for tonight.

 

Appointments to the Board of Adjustment, Community Design Commission, Downtown Economic Development Organization, Greenways Commission, and Parks and Recreation Commission are scheduled for June 14, 2004.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2004-05-24/R-2)

 

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

 

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
