Plan Modifications No. 2.
GENERAL COMMENTS
All Commission members present reviewed the Development Plan
Modifications No. 2 and discussed the following topics with the following
comments:
- The Commission did not have any
major issues with the modifications proposed.
- The Commission had the
following comments on the Love House Addition:
- That the increase in square
footage for the addition from 900 square feet with the original proposal
to 1,600 square feet with the modification is in excess of what is compatible
with the existing structure.
- That elevation must be
provided for the Love House addition prior to any recommendation by the
Commission.
- That the unique “quirkiness”
of the existing Love House profiles and elevations be maintained.
- The proposed office addition
on the east side appears to be “tacked on” as an after-thought and not
well-integrated as part of the house.
- The Commission supported the
use of the overhead pedestrian connections on South Road. One Commissioner
asked if the pedestrian bridges were proposed to be covered.
- The Commission supported the
combining of the parking areas into one location and the two chiller
locations into one location rather than at 2 different locations.
