SUBJECT:        Designation of Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the National League of Cities Congress of Cities Meeting in December

 

DATE:             September 27, 2004

 

 

The National League of Cities’ annual Congress of Cities meeting will be in Indianapolis, Indiana November 30 through December 4, 2004.

 

The Council is asked to designate a voting delegate and one alternate delegate for this meeting.  The League of Cities has requested that the Town notify them no later than October 8^th of the delegates’ names (Attachment 1).

 

The following resolution would designate a delegate and an alternate to this meeting.

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE DELEGATE TO THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES’ 2004 CONGRESS OF CITIES ANNUAL MEETING (2004-09-27/R-19)

 

BE IT RESOLVED that the Council hereby designates _________________________ to serve as the Council’s voting delegate to the National League of Cities’ 2004 Congress of Cities annual meeting November 30 – December 4, 2004, and designates _______________________ as an alternate voting delegate.
