SUBJECT:        Nominations to Various Advisory Boards and Commissions

 

DATE:              October 11, 2004

 

 

Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill vacancies on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board and the Chapel Hill Active Living by Design Partnership Advisory Board.  Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.

 

Appointments to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board and the Chapel Hill Active Living by Design Partnership Advisory Board are scheduled for tonight.

 

Copies of the applications are attached.

 

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2004-10-11/R-2)

 

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

 

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:

 

 

Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board

Nicholas Lurie

 

 

Chapel Hill Active Living by Design Partnership Advisory Board

Esphur E. Foster
