Recommendation:      That the comments of the Commission are forwarded to the applicant and Council.

Vote:  Unanimous to forward comments by members present:  Mark Broadwell, George Cianciolo, Dale Coker, Thatcher Freund, Laura King Moore, Charlotte Newby (chair), Glenn Parks, Scott Radway, John Runkle, Amy Ryan.

General Comments

1. That the Community Design Commission supports the proposed changes to the Beechridge Recreation area.

2. That the proposal includes a concrete bench along the trail.

Miscellaneous

3. One Commission member expressed concern about the potential liability if the required driveway access is not constructed and emergency vehicles cannot access the recreation area.
