BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION OF

AREA 1- VINEYARD SQUARE ANNEXATION AREA

 

 

AREA 2- Vineyard Square Annexation Area

 

Beginning at a point on the existing Town of Chapel Hill city limits line and on the northern right-of-way line of Homestead Rd; said point also being the southwestern most corner of lot 7.24..13 and the southeastern most corner of the Vineyard Square Development. Thence proceeding in a westerly direction along the northern right-of-way line of Homestead Road and the city limits line, crossing Weaver Dairy Road Extension, and following the southern most property lines of Lots 7.24..12, 7.24..12A and 7.24..16A for a distance of approximately 1,404 feet to the northeastern edge of the railroad right-of-way line of the University Spur of the Norfolk and Western Railroad and Homestead Road; thence crossing said railroad right-of-way to its northwestern corner with Homestead Road and the existing city limits; thence departing from the city limits line and proceeding northward along the western edge of said railroad right-of-way, for approximately 1,615 feet to a point on the railroad right-of-way that is a corner of the Chapel Hill city limits line. Thence proceeding with the city limits line in an easterly direction across said railroad right-of-way to a corner of lot 7.170..68. Thence proceeding in an easterly direction along the southern property line of said lot 68, said property line also being the northern most property line of the Vineyard Square Development, being identified as Lot 7.24..68; and thence continuing along the city limits approximately 1,240 feet across Weaver Dairy Road Extension and along the northern property lines of  Lots 7.24..16C and 16F, also crossing the right-of-way of  Napa Valley Way to the northeast corner of said lot 7.24..16F, said corner being the northeastern corner of the Vineyard Square Development. Then proceeding, still following the city limits line in a southeasterly direction approximately 444 feet to a corner of said lot 16F; thence proceeding in a southwesterly direction along the eastern most property line of said Lot 16F approximately 1024 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 7.24..13. Thence following the northern line of said Lot 13 and the Chapel Hill city limits line in a westerly direction to the northwest corner of said Lot 13; thence proceeding southwardly along said Lot 13’s western boundary and the city limits line approximately 278 feet to the southwestern corner of said Lot 7.24..13, said corner also being on the right-of-way of Homestead Road, and said corner also being the point and place of beginning. Containing  57.2 acres more or less.
