SUBJECT:        Membership recommendations

BACKGROUND

The Technology Committee held a regularly scheduled meeting on February 15, 2005. Twelve members were in attendance: Ralph Beisner, Terri Buckner, Aris Buinevicius, Evelyn Daniel, Gregg Gerdau, Steve Irving, Karim Kheireddine, Uzoma, Nwasu, Brandon Perkins, Roscoe Reeve, Alan Rimer, and Donald Shaw.

The Committee reviewed membership status and noted that with the recent resignation of Joel Dunn, there are two vacant positions on the Committee. Alan Rimer noted the Town Clerk has six applications for membership on the Committee and provided copies of the applications for review.

The Committee reviewed the following applications: Jeremy Collins, Matt Hapgood, Martha Hoylman, David Lewis, Allan Polak, and Will Raymond. The committee voted to recommend two for nomination by the Town Council: Martha Hoylman and Will Raymond on an 11-1 vote.  A reason for the no vote was declined.

RECOMMENDATION

The Technology Committee recommends approving membership for the following: Martha Hoylman and Will Raymond.
