SUBJECT:       Nominations to Various Advisory Boards and Committees

DATE:             April 25, 2005

Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill vacancies on the Community Design Commission, Old Durham/Chapel Hill Road Policy Committee, Planning Board, Rental Licensing Committee, Technology Committee, and Transportation Board.  Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.

Appointments to the Old Durham/Chapel Hill Road Policy Committee and Rental Licensing Committee are scheduled for tonight.

Appointments to the Community Design Commission, Planning Board, Technology Committee, and Transportation Board are scheduled for May 9.

Copies of the applications are attached.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMITTEES (2005-04-25/R-2)

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
