SUBJECT:       Nominations to Various Advisory Boards and Committees

DATE:             May 9, 2005

Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill vacancies on the Board of Adjustment, Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission, Community Design Commission, Library Board of Trustees, Personnel Appeals Committee, Planning Board, and Transportation Board.  Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.

Appointments to the Community Design Commission, Planning Board, and Transportation Board are scheduled for tonight.

Appointments to the Board of Adjustment, Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission, Library Board of Trustees, and Personnel Appeals Committee are scheduled for May 23.

Copies of the applications are attached.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMITTEES (2005-05-09/R-2)

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
