SUBJECT: Nominations to Various Advisory Boards and Committees
DATE: June 27, 2005
Tonight, the Council may make nominations to fill vacancies on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, Historic District Commission, Horace Williams Citizens Committee, Housing and Community Development Advisory Board, Human Services Advisory Board, Orange County Animal Services Advisory Board, and Orange Water and Sewer Authority Board of Directors. Adoption of the attached resolution would nominate the current applicants.
Appointments to the Human Services Advisory Board and Orange County Animal Services Advisory Board are scheduled for tonight.
Appointments to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, Historic District Commission, Horace Williams Citizens Committee, Housing and Community Development Advisory Board, and Orange Water and Sewer Authority Board of Directors are scheduled for June 27.
Copies of the applications are attached.
A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMITTEES (2005-06-15/R-2)
WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and
WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
