Tonight, the Council may make an appointment to one vacancy on the Orange Water and Sewer Authority, to be effective July 1, 2005.
A recommendation from OWASA Interview Committee is attached.

SUBJECT: OWASA Board Recommendations

There is one vacancy to fill on the OWASA Board. That position is being currently served by Michael (Mac) Clarke who has filled a mid-term vacancy. He is eligible to serve 2 consecutive 3-year terms after serving the unexpired term. Mr. Clarke has reapplied for appointment.
We received six applications, five of which are from applicants who were interviewed last year, and one is from Mr. Clarke
By a unanimous vote, the Committee recommends Michael (Mac) Clarke for reappointment to the Orange Water and Sewer Authority.
