SUBJECT:       Designation of Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the National League of Cities Congress of Cities Meeting in December

 

DATE:             September 26, 2005

 

 

The National League of Cities’ annual Congress of Cities meeting will be in Charlotte, North Carolina December 6 through 10, 2005.

 

The Council is asked to designate a voting delegate and one alternate delegate for this meeting. The League of Cities has requested that the Town notify them no later than October 13 of the delegates’ names (Attachment 1).

 

The following resolution would designate a delegate and an alternate to this meeting.

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE DELEGATE TO THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES’ 2005 CONGRESS OF CITIES ANNUAL MEETING (2005-09-26/R-18)

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council hereby designates                                                                                   to serve as the Council’s voting delegate to the National League of Cities’ 2005 Congress of Cities annual meeting December 6 through 10, 2005, and designates                                                               as an alternate voting delegate.
