SUBJECT:       Appointment of Council Liaison to the Public Art Contextual Plan Advisory Committee

 

DATE:            September 26, 2005

 

 

The Council asked the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission to create a Public Art Contextual Plan for the Town of Chapel Hill and designated funds in the Town’s FY 2005-06 budget for the creation of the Plan.  Tonight, the Council may adopt the attached resolution to designate a Council member as the Council liaison to the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission’s Public Art Contextual Plan Advisory Committee.

 

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A COUNCIL MEMBER AS LIAISON TO THE PUBLIC ART CONTEXTUAL PLAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE (2005-09-26/R-16)

 

WHEREAS, the Council has asked the Chapel Hill Public Arts Commission to establish a Public Art Contextual Plan for the Town of Chapel Hill; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council approved funds in the Town’s FY 2005-06 budget for the creation of a Public Art Contextual Plan;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council designates Council Member                                                                                    as the Council liaison to the Public Art Contextual Plan Advisory Committee.
