A RESOLUTION REFERRING A PETITION FROM THE RESIDENTS OF THE WINTER HILL SUBDIVISION TO THE MORGAN CREEK/KINGS MILL ROAD NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION DISTRICT PROCESS FOR FURTHER DISCUSSION (2005-10-24/R-8)

WHEREAS, on September 26, 2005, Mr. John McPhaul presented a petition to the Council on behalf of residents of the Winter Hill Subdivision asking to exclude the subdivision from the Morgan Creek/Kings Mill Road Neighborhood Conservation District; and

WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Conservation District process for the Morgan Creek/Kings Mill Road neighborhood is underway; and

WHEREAS, a series of meetings will be held with the residents of the proposed district to develop recommendations for a proposed boundary and regulations for the district;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill refers this petition to the process for the Morgan Creek/Kings Mill Road Neighborhood Conservation District for further discussion.
