Hello Mayor Foy,

I hope you are having a good week.  I love this Fall weather we are having.  Thank you again for your time in visiting our neighborhood recently.  I wanted to follow up with you on 2 issues that we discussed during your recent visit to Larkspur. 

I would like to formally petition the Town Council for 2 items:

1)  Public transit service for the Larkspur neighborhood to be routed on Weaver Dairy Extension.  A bus route on Weaver Dairy Extension would service not only Larkspur, but also Vineyard Square, as well as large portions of Northwoods and Parkside neighborhoods.

2)  A highly visible crosswalk on Weaver Dairy Extension to connect Larkspur to Northwoods.  The crosswalk should connect from Rowe Road to Old Larkspur Way (on the northern side where the sidewalks could be joined).  This connection is important for safety since this is the route that Larkspur parents and children take when walking to Homestead Park.  Other neighbors from Parkside and Northwoods also cross the street here into Larkspur when walking/jogging.  Weaver Dairy is very wide at this point with 3 vehicular lanes and 2 bicycle lanes, making it difficult to get all the way across without having to stop in the middle and wait for cars to pass.
