SUBJECT: Appointment to Community Design Commission

We have been notified that David Roth, an applicant for the current vacancy on the Community Design Commission, does not wish to be considered for this vacancy. Amended ballots are attached for your convenience.
The Community Design Commission has recommended that Scott Radway be appointed to this Board. Tonight, with adoption of Agenda #4a, the Council nominated Mr. Radway and others for a vacancy on the Planning Board. Mr. Radway has indicated that his first preference would be to serve on the Planning Board. An appointment to the Planning Board is scheduled for February 28.
The Community Design Commission has requested that, if the Council chooses to appoint Mr. Radway to the Planning Board on February 28, that the vacancy on the Community Design Commission be readvertised and an appointment made at a later date.
