SUBJECT: Appointment to the Orange County Solid Waste Advisory Board

Tonight, the Council may make appointments to the two Town seats on the Orange County Solid Waste Advisory Board.
Attached is a recommendation from the Council’s Committee on appointments to this Board, copies of the applications to be considered, and ballots.
Also attached are materials related to the establishment of this Board.

After interviewing all applicants for the Solid Waste Advisory Board, we recommend the following appointments to the Solid Waste Advisory Board.
· Appoint Albert F. Vickers and Jan F. Sassaman to fill the vacancies.
We appreciate having the opportunity to review the applications prior to Council appointment.
