SUBJECT: Deferral of Community Development Program Issues

DATE: February 14, 2000

We were scheduled to bring on this agenda consideration of an amendment to the Community Development Program to consider budgeting funds for the Midway Business Center and other potential neighborhood revitalization projects. The Council held a public hearing on this proposal on January 10, 2000.

Due to snow, the Housing and Community Development Advisory Board was unable to meet to make a recommendation on these items. The Board has scheduled its next meeting for February 22, 2000. Therefore, we plan to place these items on the Council’s February 28, 2000 agenda so that the Council would be able to receive the recommendation of the Housing and Community Development Advisory Board along with our request.
