SUBJECT: Authorization to Sign Deeds and Vehicle
Titles
DATE: April 10, 2000
The approved Interlocal Agreement for Solid Waste Management, as amended,
calls for the transfer of title to Landfill assets and the 60 acre portion of
the Greene Tract to Orange County. The
resolution below would authorize and direct the Town Manager to sign the deeds
and vehicle titles on behalf of the Town.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE TOWN MANAGER TO SIGN DEEDS AND VEHICLE TITLES ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT, AS AMENDED, APPROVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL (2000-04-10/R-10)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Town
Manager is authorized and directed to execute deeds and vehicle titles on
behalf of the Town of Chapel Hill in accordance with the terms of the
Interlocal Agreement for Solid Waste Management, as amended, approved by the
Town Council.
