SUBJECT: Deferring Scheduled Appointments to OWASA, Planning Board and Technology Committee

DATE: May 8, 2000

Appointment to one seat on the Orange Water and Sewer Authority with a term beginning July 1, 2000, has been deferred to June 12 to allow the Council’s Committee the opportunity to complete applicant interviews and prepare a recommendation for the Council’s consideration.

Appointment to one seat on the Planning Board with a term beginning July 1, 2000, has been deferred to June 12 to allow the Planning Board the opportunity to review the applications and prepare a recommendation for the Council’s consideration.

Appointments to three seats on the Technology Committee with terms beginning July 1, 2000, have been delayed while recruitment continues. At this time, no applications have been received for these expected vacancies. We will continue to advertise for applicants.
