SUBJECT: Request
to Extend Term of Mark Broadwell

The Greenways Commission has requested that the term
of current Chair Mark Broadwell be extended for one additional year to allow
newer members to more smoothly transition into leadership roles. Adoption of the following resolution would
extend Mr. Broadwell’s term to June 30, 2001.
A copy of the Greenways Commission’s recommendation
is attached.
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING FOR ONE YEAR THE TERM OF GREENWAYS COMMISSION MEMBER MARK BROADWELL (2000-05-22/R-15)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel
Hill that the Council hereby extends for one year, to June 30, 2001, the term
of Greenways Commission Member Mark Broadwell.
