SUBJECT: Nominations to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, the Board of Adjustment, the Community Design Commission, the Greenways Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission
DATE: May 22, 2000
This evening, the Council may make nominations to Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, the Board of Adjustment, the Community Design Commission, the Greenways Commission, and the Parks and Recreation Commission for terms of office having an expiration date of June 30, 2000.
The attached resolution would nominate applicants to these boards. Appointments are scheduled for June 12 to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, the Community Design Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission, and June 26 for the Board of Adjustment and the Greenways Commission.
Copies of the applications are attached.
A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2000-05-22/R-2)
WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and
WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
