SUBJECT:       Budget Amendment for UNC Art Symposium

 

DATE:             May 22, 2000

 

 

The attached budget ordinance would transfer $1,000 from the Council’s contingency account to the Council’s budget for the UNC Art Symposium held in April.  The Council approved this allocation at its meeting on February 28, 2000.  A formal budget amendment from the contingency account is necessary to provide funding for this allocation.

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

That the Council adopt the budget amendment below.

 

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ORDINANCE APPROPRIATIONS AND THE RAISING OF REVENUE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1999 (2000-05-22/O-3)

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Budget Ordinance entitled “An Ordinance Concerning Appropriations and the Raising of Revenue for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 1999” as duly adopted on June 12, 1999, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
