SUBJECT: Nominations to the Library Board of Trustees, Personnel Appeals Committee, the Public Arts Commission, the Rental Licensing Work Group, and the Stormwater Utility Study Committee

DATE:             August 28, 2000

Tonight the Council may make nominations to the Library Board of Trustees, Personnel Appeals Committee, the Public Arts Commission, the Rental Licensing Work Group, and the Stormwater Utility Study Committee.  Appointments to these boards are scheduled for September 11.

The attached resolution would nominate applicants to these boards.

Copies of the applications are attached.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2000-08-28/R-2)

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
