SUBJECT: Appointments to the Parks and Recreation Commission

DATE: December 11, 2000

Tonight, the Council may make an appointment to one vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission.

The Council on November 27, 2000, considered the appointment to this board. Votes were cast as follows:

Betty Smith 4 votes

Tamea Stewart 4 votes

Joyce Robson Trout 1 vote

Because no candidate received a majority vote, it is necessary for the Council to reconsider this appointment. A recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Commission is attached.
