SUBJECT: Appointments to the Southern Community Park Conceptual Plan Committee
DATE: December 11, 2000
Tonight, the Council may make appointments to the newly created Southern Community Park Conceptual Plan Committee.
Attached is a copy of the resolution adopted on July 5, 2000, creating this Committee and stating its charge and membership (Attachment 1).
The Parks and Recreation Commission recommends that Pamela Hemminger and Al Mebane be appointed as its representatives to this Committee (Attachment 2).
The Greenways Commission recommends that Audrey Booth be appointed as its representative to this Committee (Attachment 2).
We are still awaiting recommendations from the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School Board, the Orange County Commissioners, and the Carrboro Board of Aldermen.
Copies of the applications (Attachment 3) and ballots are attached.
