DATE: January 8, 2001

Tonight the Council may make nominations to one vacancy on the Historic District Commission, one vacancy on the Southern Community Park Conceptual Plan Committee and one vacancy (Glen Lennox area) on the Work Group to Study Traffic Management in the Glen Lennox, Little Creek, and Oaks I Neighborhoods. Appointments to these boards are scheduled for this evening.

The attached resolution would nominate applicants to these boards.

Copies of the applications are attached.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2001-01-08/R-2)

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
