SUBJECT:       Nominations to the Orange Water and Sewer Authority Board of Directors, the Planning Board, and the Technology Committee

DATE:            April 23, 2001

Tonight the Council may make nominations to fill four vacancies on the Orange Water and Sewer Authority Board of Directors, four vacancies on the Planning Board, and up to nine vacancies on the Technology Committee.  Appointments to this board are scheduled for May 7, 2001.

Copies of the applications are attached.

A RESOLUTION NOMINATING APPLICANTS TO VARIOUS ADVISORY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS (2001-04-23/R-6)

WHEREAS, the applications for service on an advisory board or commission or other committees listed below have been received; and

WHEREAS, the applicants have been determined by the Town Clerk to be eligible to serve;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the following names are placed in nomination to serve on an advisory board or commission:
