made by the Manager. / Town Clerk's office took on responsibility for
distribution of mail and mailing functions in 1991, and for Americans with
Disabilities Act in 1992 |

Human Resources: Employee Relations and
Training Officer position added in 1986 as part-time, and converted to
full-time in 1988; Safety and Wellness Coordinator position (converted from
the Police Department's part-time Exercise Physiologist) added in 1990 --
funding later split between Police, Fire, and Human Resources. |

Finance: Risk Manager position added abolished in 1991 / Cost Accountant position added in 1991/
Information Technology (computer) functions begun in 1994 with a position
split between the Police Department and Finance; additional positions added in 1998, 1999,
