SUBJECT: Salary Increases for Town Manager and Town Attorney

As agreed to by the Council in closed session on September 5, 2001, the attached Personnel Ordinance amendment would implement salary increases for the Town Manager and Town Attorney, effective November 1, 2001.

Town Attorney $110,000 $115,500
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN DATED NOVEMBER 1, 2001 (2001-09-24/O-7)
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Ordinance Establishing a Position Classification and Pay Plan (2001-08-27/O-4) is amended as follows:
In Section IV, part B, under Elected and Appointed Officials, DELETE the lines

Town Attorney 1 $110,000
and ADD the lines

Town Attorney 1 $115,500
