AGENDA #16a(2)

MEMORANDUM

TO:                  Mayor and Town Council

FROM:            Council Members Kevin Foy and Bill Strom

SUBJECT:       Resolution Designating the Greene Tract Public Forum as an Official Meeting of the Town Council

DATE:            November 12, 2001

On October 10, a Council Member announced that the Greene Tract Committee would hold a public forum on November 15 at 7 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center and that all public officials were encouraged to attend, because the forum would be a substitute for the Assembly of Governments meeting previously scheduled for October 29.  The Committee will put forth three potential uses: open space, low-impact active recreation, and affordable housing.

Adoption of the attached resolution would make the Greene Tract Public Forum an official meeting for the Town Council.
